The young Australian couple Bonita and Yoshi stayed in 2021 and while staying in Malaysia, parents of little Tamula May.

This channel describes really well how hard, but also how beautiful sailing life can be. Everything from grounding to mechanical faults and a complete indoor renovation.

We have been living on a sailboat and sailing offshore around the world for 7 years now! Having no clue how to sail, we bought an old 40ft Run down Bruce Roberts. We did our best to make our sailboat ready for anything, until we got stuck in some remote islands off Malaysia and created life! Now a family of 3 plus our Whippet, we upgraded sailboats to a Bob Perry design and are now preparing our dream boat, the Tayana 47 ready for the Indian Ocean! Let's do some miles as we sail west together! YEW!

Getting woken up by a crew member saying "you need to get up here quick!" is not a good feeling when you are over 800 miles from land... This could have ended really bad!

We have been locked into a broad reach for days and days on end. Nandji 2 has been relishing the strong winds and constantly changing and building seas, but with a current pushing us south of our destination, we mix up our sails and pole out the head sail using the boom.

The strong winds and rough seas are starting to take a toll onto our sailboat and we need to make repairs at sea. We lose items overboard, the sails are falling apart and we nearly rip the windvane off the back of the boat!!
