Interesting new cockpit design on Jeanneau Yacht 55

Jeanneau has just announced their new model and it offers a bit of a revolution of the classic sailboat cockpit layout.

Jeanneau Yachts was launched twenty years ago by the French shipyard Jeanneau. This range of luxury sailing boats over 50 feet allowed Jeanneau to quickly become the market leader in this segment. Jeanneau Yachts 55 is the latest model in the Jeanneau Yachts line. It was unveiled this week, and will be presented at Boot 2023 next year.

A Jeanneau boat must be fast and easily maneuverable. The performance criteria include not only speed but excellent maneuverability under engine and good seakeeping. It must give confidence by responding perfectly to commands.
